पूर्णेऽशौचेऽथवाऽपूर्णे तत्कालाभ्यन्तरे श्रुते ।

dvijādayaḥ pūrṇe aśauce athavā apūrṇe tatkālaabhyantare
śrute śravaṇācca iṣadivasair viśuddhyeyuḥ

68. When the period of impurity is completed or incomplete, if (the death) is heard of within that very time, or within a few days after hearing of it, the twice-born and other classes become purified.
