कुलार्णव-तन्त्रम्       kulārṇava-tantram - chapter-14, verse-18

धनेच्चाभयलोभाद्यैरयोग्यं यदि दीक्षयेत् ।
देवताशापमाप्नोति कृतञ्च निष्फलं भवेत् ॥१८॥
18. dhaneccābhayalobhādyairayogyaṁ yadi dīkṣayet ,
devatāśāpamāpnoti kṛtañca niṣphalaṁ bhavet.
18. dhaneccā-abhaya-lobha-ādyaiḥ ayogyam yadi dīkṣayet
devatā-śāpam āpnoti kṛtam ca niṣphalam bhavet

devatā-śāpam āpnoti kṛtam ca niṣphalam bhavet
18. If out of a desire for wealth, fear, greed, or similar motives, one initiates an unworthy person, he incurs the curse of the deity, and his ritual action becomes fruitless.
