योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-2, chapter-19, verse-9

तावद्विचारयेत्प्राज्ञो यावद्विश्रान्तिमात्मनि ।
संप्रयात्यपुनर्नाशां शान्तिं तुर्यपदाभिधाम् ॥ ९ ॥
tāvadvicārayetprājño yāvadviśrāntimātmani ,
saṃprayātyapunarnāśāṃ śāntiṃ turyapadābhidhām 9
9. tāvat vicārayet prājñaḥ yāvat viśrāntim ātmani
saṃprayāti apunar-nāśām śāntim turyapada-abhidhām

9. A wise person should continue to reflect until they attain within their self (ātman) that imperishable peace which is designated as the fourth state (turiya), achieving true rest.
