योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-2, chapter-19, verse-17

सर्वाक्षसारमध्यक्षं वेदनं विदुरुत्तमाः ।
नूनं तत्प्रतिपत्सिद्धं तत्प्रत्यक्षमुदाहृतम् ॥ १७ ॥
sarvākṣasāramadhyakṣaṃ vedanaṃ viduruttamāḥ ,
nūnaṃ tatpratipatsiddhaṃ tatpratyakṣamudāhṛtam 17
17. sarvākṣasāram adhyakṣam vedanam viduḥ uttamāḥ
nūnam tatpratipatsiddham tat pratyakṣam udāhṛtam

17. The highest authorities know knowing to be the essence of all senses and the direct perceiver. Certainly, that which is established through apprehension is declared to be direct perception.
