वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-8, verse-3

नारायण न जानीषे क्षत्रधर्मं सनातनम् ।
अयुद्धमनसो भग्नान्यो ऽस्मान् हंसि यथेतरः ॥३॥
3. nārāyaṇa na jānīṣe kṣatradharmaṃ sanātanam ,
ayuddhamanaso bhagnānyo'smān haṃsi yathetaraḥ.
