वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-8, verse-17

वैनतेयस्ततः क्रुद्धः पक्षवातेन राक्षसं ।
व्यपोहद्बलवान् वायुः शुष्कपर्णचयं यथा ॥१७॥
17. vainateyastataḥ kruddhaḥ pakṣavātena rākṣasaṃ ,
vyapohadbalavān vāyuḥ śuṣkaparṇacayaṃ yathā.

17. Then, the enraged Garuḍa, with the strong wind from his wings, swept away the demon (rākṣasa) just as a powerful wind disperses a pile of dry leaves.
