वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-22, verse-21

मृत्युस्तु परमक्रुद्धो वैवस्वतमथाब्रवीत् ।
मुञ्च मां देव शीघ्रं त्वं निहन्मि समरे रिपुम् ॥२१॥
21. mṛtyustu paramakruddho vaivasvatamathābravīt ,
muñca māṃ deva śīghraṃ tvaṃ nihanmi samare ripum.
21. mṛtyuḥ tu paramakruddhaḥ vaivasvatam atha abravīt
muñca mām deva śīghram tvam nihanmi samare ripum
21. tu paramakruddhaḥ mṛtyuḥ atha vaivasvatam abravīt: "deva tvam śīghram mām muñca,
(aham) samare ripum nihanmi"
21. However, Death, extremely enraged, then spoke to Vaivasvata (Yama): 'O god, quickly release me! I shall slay the enemy in battle.'
