वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-22, verse-17

राक्षसेन्द्रस्ततः क्रुद्धश्चापमायम्य संयुगे ।
निरन्तरमिवाकाशं कुर्वन्बाणान्मुमोच ह ॥१७॥
17. rākṣasendrastataḥ kruddhaścāpamāyamya saṃyuge ,
nirantaramivākāśaṃ kurvanbāṇānmumoca ha.

nirantaram iva ākāśam kurvan bāṇān mumoca ha
17. tataḥ kruddhaḥ rākṣasendraḥ saṃyuge cāpam āyamya

17. Then, the enraged lord of rākṣasas (Rāvaṇa), having stretched his bow in battle, released arrows, effectively filling the sky without a gap.
