तदिदं सत्यमेवाहं करिष्ये प्रियमात्मनः ।
वैदेहीं नाशयिष्यामि क्षत्रबन्धुमनुव्रताम् ।
इत्येवमुक्त्वा सचिवान् खड्गमाशु परामृशत् ॥३२॥

32. tadidaṃ satyamevāhaṃ kariṣye priyamātmanaḥ ,
vaidehīṃ nāśayiṣyāmi kṣatrabandhumanuvratām ,
ityevamuktvā sacivān khaḍgamāśu parāmṛśat.

32.
Therefore, I will certainly do this, which is agreeable to my own self (ātman). I will destroy Vaidehī, who is devoted to that kṣatriya-kinsman. Having said this to his ministers, he quickly seized his sword.
