वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-80, verse-21

तमन्तकमिव क्रुद्धं चराचरचिखादिषुम् ।
वीक्षमाणं दिशः सर्वा राक्षसा नोपचक्रमुः ॥२१॥
21. tamantakamiva kruddhaṃ carācaracikhādiṣum ,
vīkṣamāṇaṃ diśaḥ sarvā rākṣasā nopacakramuḥ.
21. tam antakam iva kruddham carācara-cikhādiṣum
vīkṣamāṇam diśaḥ sarvāḥ rākṣasāḥ na upacakramuḥ
21. rākṣasāḥ tam kruddham antakam iva carācara-cikhādiṣum
sarvāḥ diśaḥ vīkṣamāṇam na upacakramuḥ
21. The demons did not approach him, who was enraged like the god of death (Antaka), desiring to devour all moving and unmoving beings, as he looked in all directions.
