वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-43, verse-5

तमुवाच ततस्तत्र कुपिता जनकात्मजा ।
सौमित्रे मित्ररूपेण भ्रातुस्त्वमसि शत्रुवत् ॥५॥
5. tamuvāca tatastatra kupitā janakātmajā ,
saumitre mitrarūpeṇa bhrātustvamasi śatruvat.
5. tam uvāca tataḥ tatra kupitā janakātmajā
saumitre mitrarūpeṇa bhrātuḥ tvam asi śatruvat
5. tataḥ tatra kupitā janakātmajā tam uvāca,
saumitre! tvam mitrarūpeṇa bhrātuḥ śatruvat asi.
5. Then, the angry daughter of Janaka (Sītā) said to him, "O son of Sumitrā (Lakṣmaṇa)! You are like an enemy to your brother in the guise of a friend."
