वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-8, verse-23

एवं ते ज्ञातिपक्षस्य श्रेयश्चैव भविष्यति ।
यदि चेद्भरतो धर्मात् पित्र्यं राज्यमवाप्स्यति ॥२३॥
23. evaṃ te jñātipakṣasya śreyaścaiva bhaviṣyati ,
yadi cedbharato dharmāt pitryaṃ rājyamavāpsyati.
23. evam te jñātipakṣasya śreyaḥ ca eva bhaviṣyati
yadi cet bharataḥ dharmāt pitryam rājyam avāpsyati
23. evam te jñātipakṣasya ca eva śreyaḥ bhaviṣyati

23. Thus, prosperity will come to your kinsmen if Bharata obtains the ancestral kingdom, in accordance with his intrinsic nature (dharma).
