वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-30, verse-21

इत्येवं विविधा वाचो नानाजनसमीरिताः ।
शुश्राव रामः श्रुत्वा च न विचक्रे ऽस्य मानसं ॥२१॥
21. ityevaṃ vividhā vāco nānājanasamīritāḥ ,
śuśrāva rāmaḥ śrutvā ca na vicakre'sya mānasaṃ.
21. iti evam vividhāḥ vācaḥ nānājanasamīritāḥ
śuśrāva rāmaḥ śrutvā ca na vicakre asya mānasam
21. rāmaḥ iti evam nānājanasamīritāḥ vividhāḥ
vācaḥ śuśrāva ca śrutvā asya mānasam na vicakre
21. Thus, Rāma heard various words uttered by many people. And having heard them, his mind did not waver.
