वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-30, verse-11

निर्गुणस्यापि पुत्रस्या काथं स्याद्विप्रवासनम् ।
किं पुनर्यस्य लोको ऽयं जितो वृत्तेन केवलम् ॥११॥
11. nirguṇasyāpi putrasyā kāthaṃ syādvipravāsanam ,
kiṃ punaryasya loko'yaṃ jito vṛttena kevalam.
11. nirguṇasya api putrasya katham syāt vipravāsanam
kim punaḥ yasya lokaḥ ayam jitaḥ vṛttena kevalam
11. nirguṇasya putrasya api vipravāsanam katham syāt
kim punaḥ yasya ayam lokaḥ vṛttena kevalam jitaḥ
11. Why would there be banishment even for a son who lacks good qualities? How much more, then, for one by whom this world has been conquered solely through his character.
