महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-65, verse-57

अन्नं वै परमं द्रव्यमन्नं श्रीश्च परा मता ।
अन्नात्प्राणः प्रभवति तेजो वीर्यं बलं तथा ॥५७॥
57. annaṁ vai paramaṁ dravyamannaṁ śrīśca parā matā ,
annātprāṇaḥ prabhavati tejo vīryaṁ balaṁ tathā.
