महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-65, verse-46

स्वर्गो वै मूर्तिमानेष वृषभं यो गवां पतिम् ।
विप्रे गुणयुते दद्यात्स वै स्वर्गे महीयते ॥४६॥

46. svargo vai mūrtimāneṣa vṛṣabhaṁ yo gavāṁ patim ,
vipre guṇayute dadyātsa vai svarge mahīyate.

46. Indeed, this lord of cows, the bull, is heaven personified. The one who gives such a bull to a virtuous brahmin (vipra) is truly honored in heaven.
