महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-65, verse-41

रन्तिदेवस्य यज्ञे ताः पशुत्वेनोपकल्पिताः ।
ततश्चर्मण्वती राजन्गोचर्मभ्यः प्रवर्तिता ॥४१॥
