महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-65, verse-20

ब्रह्मोवाच ।
ददामि मेदिनीभागं भवद्भ्योऽहं सुरर्षभाः ।
यस्मिन्देशे करिष्यध्वं यज्ञं काश्यपनन्दनाः ॥२०॥
20. brahmovāca ,
dadāmi medinībhāgaṁ bhavadbhyo'haṁ surarṣabhāḥ ,
yasmindeśe kariṣyadhvaṁ yajñaṁ kāśyapanandanāḥ.
20. brahmā uvāca dadāmi medinībhāgam bhavadbhyas aham
surarṣabhāḥ yasmin deśe kariṣyadhvam yajñam kāśyapanandanāḥ
20. brahmā uvāca aham surarṣabhāḥ kāśyapanandanāḥ bhavadbhyas
medinībhāgam dadāmi yasmin deśe yajñam kariṣyadhvam
20. Brahmā said: "O best of the gods (surarṣabhāḥ), and O sons of Kāśyapa (Kāśyapanandanāḥ), I grant you a portion of land in which you may perform your Vedic ritual (yajña)."
