महानिर्वाण-तन्त्रम्       mahānirvāṇa-tantram - chapter-8, verse-47

कन्याऽप्येवं पालनीया शिक्षणीयाऽतियत्नतः ।
देया वराय विदुषे धनरत्नसमन्विता ॥४७॥
47. kanyā'pyevaṁ pālanīyā śikṣaṇīyā'tiyatnataḥ ,
deyā varāya viduṣe dhanaratnasamanvitā.

47. Similarly, a daughter should be protected and educated with great care, and then given in marriage to a learned groom, adorned with wealth and gems.
