महानिर्वाण-तन्त्रम्       mahānirvāṇa-tantram - chapter-2, verse-40

कारणं सर्वभूतानां स एकः परमेश्वरः ।
लोकेषु सृष्टिकरणात् स्रष्टा ब्रह्मेति गीयते ॥४०॥
40. kāraṇaṁ sarvabhūtānāṁ sa ekaḥ parameśvaraḥ ,
lokeṣu sṛṣṭikaraṇāt sraṣṭā brahmeti gīyate.
40. kāraṇam sarva-bhūtānām saḥ ekaḥ parameśvaraḥ
lokeṣu sṛṣṭi-karaṇāt sraṣṭā brahmā iti gīyate
40. saḥ ekaḥ parameśvaraḥ sarva-bhūtānām kāraṇam (asti),
lokeṣu sṛṣṭi-karaṇāt sraṣṭā brahmā iti gīyate.
40. That single supreme lord is the cause of all beings, and because of creating the universe in the worlds, he is sung of as the creator, Brahmā.
