महानिर्वाण-तन्त्रम्       mahānirvāṇa-tantram - chapter-2, verse-22

अधिकारिविभेदेन पशुबाहुल्यतः प्रिये ।
कुलाचारोदितं धर्मं गुप्त्यर्थं कथितं क्वचित् ॥२२॥
22. adhikārivibhedena paśubāhulyataḥ priye ,
kulācāroditaṁ dharmaṁ guptyarthaṁ kathitaṁ kvacit.
22. adhikāra vibhedena paśu bāhulyataḥ priye kula
ācāra uditam dharmam guptyartham kathitam kvacit
22. priye adhikāra-vibhedena paśu-bāhulyataḥ
kula-ācāra-uditam dharmam guptyartham kvacit kathitam
22. O beloved one, according to the distinction of the recipients and due to the prevalence of pasus, the dharma arising from kulacara was declared in certain places for the sake of secrecy.
