ततोऽपि द्वापरे प्राप्ते स्मृत्युक्तसुकृतोज्झिते ।
धमार्द्धलोपे मनुजे आधिव्याधिसमाकुले ।
संहिताद्युपदेशेन त्वयैवोद्धारिता नराः ॥३५॥

35. tato'pi dvāpare prāpte smṛtyuktasukṛtojjhite ,
dhamārddhalope manuje ādhivyādhisamākule ,
saṁhitādyupadeśena tvayaivoddhāritā narāḥ.

35. Then, when the Dvāpara age arrived, when mortals abandoned the virtuous deeds prescribed in the smṛtis, when half of dharma was lost, and when people were overwhelmed by mental and physical illnesses, you alone delivered humanity through the instruction of the saṃhitās and other texts.
