जपकोटिसमं ध्यानं ध्यानकोटिसमो लयः ॥३६॥

36. pūjākoṭisamaṁ stotraṁ stotrakoṭisamo japaḥ ,

36. A hymn of praise (stotra) is equal to ten million worship ceremonies (pūjā), mantra recitation (japa) is equal to ten million hymns, meditation (dhyāna) is equal to ten million mantra recitations, and absorption (laya) is equal to ten million meditations.
