अनिवेद्य तु यः शक्त्यै कुलद्रव्यं निषेवते ।
पूजितं निष्फलं तस्य देवता न प्रसीदति ॥४१॥

41. anivedya tu yaḥ śaktyai kuladravyaṁ niṣevate ,

41. But whoever partakes of the Kula substances without first offering them to the Śakti, his worship becomes fruitless, and the deity is not pleased.
