जन्मान्तरसहस्रेषु या बुद्धिवीहिता नृणाम् ।
तामेव लभते जन्तुरुपदेशो निरर्थकः ॥२८॥

28. janmāntarasahasreṣu yā buddhivīhitā nṛṇām ,
tāmeva labhate janturupadeśo nirarthakaḥ.

28. Whatever understanding or inclination a living being has cultivated across thousands of past lives, that alone does it attain; external instruction without that inner impression is useless.
