सर्वस्वमपि यो दद्याद् गुरौ भक्तिविवजीतः ।
शिष्यो न फलमाप्नोति भक्तिरेव हि कारणम् ॥७०॥

70. Even if a student who is devoid of devotion gives everything to the teacher, he attains no fruit, for devotion alone is the cause.
