ज्ञानार्णव-तन्त्रम्       jñānārṇava-tantram - chapter-5, verse-2

धूपं विस्तारयेत्सम्यङ्मूलमन्त्रं हृदि स्मरन् ।
वनस्पतिरसोत्पन्नो गन्धाढ्यो धूप उत्तमः ॥२॥
2. dhūpaṁ vistārayetsamyaṅmūlamantraṁ hṛdi smaran ,
vanaspatirasotpanno gandhāḍhyo dhūpa uttamaḥ.

2. Remembering the principal mantra in the heart, one should properly offer incense. The supreme incense is born from plant juice, rich in fragrance, and excellent.
