ज्ञानार्णव-तन्त्रम्       jñānārṇava-tantram - chapter-4, verse-32

ऊर्ध्वांञ्जलिमधः कुर्यादियमावाहनी भवेत् ।
इयं तु विपरीता स्यात्तदा वै स्थापनी मता ॥३२॥
32. ūrdhvāṁñjalimadhaḥ kuryādiyamāvāhanī bhavet ,
iyaṁ tu viparītā syāttadā vai sthāpanī matā.

iyaṃ tu viparītā syāt tadā vai sthāpanī matā
32. iyam ūrdhvañjalim adhaḥ kuryāt bhavet āvāhanī
iyam tu viparītā syāt tadā vai matā sthāpanī
32. (One) should make the upward-pointing joined palms (añjali) face downward, and this becomes the invocation mudrā. When this same (mudrā) is reversed, then it is regarded as the installation mudrā.
