ज्ञानार्णव-तन्त्रम्       jñānārṇava-tantram - chapter-16, verse-65

आचार्यपादुकास्तद्वत्पूर्वसिद्धास्तु पादुकाः ।
सामान्यगुरुशिष्याणां गुरुपङ्क्तिरियं भवेत् ॥६५॥
65. ācāryapādukāstadvatpūrvasiddhāstu pādukāḥ ,
sāmānyaguruśiṣyāṇāṁ gurupaṅktiriyaṁ bhavet.
65. ācāryapādukās tadvat pūrvasiddhās tu pādukāḥ
sāmānyaguruśiṣyāṇāṃ gurupaṅktir iyaṃ bhavet
65. iyam ācāryapādukāḥ tadvat pūrvasiddhāḥ pādukāḥ
ca sāmānyaguruśiṣyāṇāṃ gurupaṅktiḥ bhavet tu
65. Similarly, the sandals of the teacher and the sandals of the ancient accomplished masters - this is the lineage of teachers for ordinary teachers and disciples.
