वामावर्तेन देवेशि नित्याः षोडश कीतीताः ॥३९॥

tu anusvārāntamantrah visarge ṣoḍaśīm yajet,

39. O goddess (deveśi), one should worship the sixteenth [nityā] at the visarga with the mantra ending in anusvāra. Thus the sixteen nityās are described in a counter-clockwise direction.
