ज्ञानार्णव-तन्त्रम्       jñānārṇava-tantram - chapter-15, verse-47

वामहस्तेन मुष्टिं तु बद्ध्वा कर्णप्रदेशके ।
तर्जनीं सरलां कृत्वा भ्रामयेत्तन्त्रवित्तमः ॥४७॥
47. vāmahastena muṣṭiṁ tu baddhvā karṇapradeśake ,
tarjanīṁ saralāṁ kṛtvā bhrāmayettantravittamaḥ.

47. The foremost knower of tantra should make a fist with his left hand near the ear, keep the forefinger straight, and wave it.
