योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-2, chapter-19, verse-22

कारणं त्वविचारोत्थजीवस्यासदपि स्थितम् ।
सदिवास्यां जगद्रूपं प्रकृतौ व्यक्तिमागतम् ॥ २२ ॥

22. kāraṇam tu avicāra uttha jīvasya asat api sthitam
sat iva asyām jagat rūpam prakṛtau vyaktim āgatam

22. This cause, however, though unreal, is established for the individual soul (jīva) that arises from a lack of inquiry. In this (Prakṛti), the form of the world (jagat-rūpa) appears as if real, having attained manifestation.
