स्वागतं ते महाबाहो कौसल्यानन्दवर्धन ।
इति प्राञ्जलयः सर्वे नागरा राममब्रुवन् ॥४०॥

40. "Welcome to you, O mighty-armed one, enhancer of Kauśalyā's joy!" Thus, all the citizens, with folded hands, addressed Rāma.
