ततो हेमोपमा तत्र कुब्जा वाक्यं वशं गता ।
संविश्य भूमौ कैकेयी मन्थरामिदमब्रवीत् ॥४४॥

44. tato hemopamā tatra kubjā vākyaṃ vaśaṃ gatā ,
saṃviśya bhūmau kaikeyī mantharāmidamabravīt.

44. Then, Kaikeyī, whose complexion was like gold, having come under the sway of the hunchback's words, sat on the ground there and said this to Mantharā.
