वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-30, verse-24

पितुर्निदेशेन तु धर्मवत्सलो वनप्रवेशे कृतबुद्धिनिश्चयः ।
स राघवः प्रेक्ष्य सुमन्त्रमब्रवीन्निवेदयस्वागमनं नृपाय मे ॥२४॥
24. piturnideśena tu dharmavatsalo vanapraveśe kṛtabuddhiniścayaḥ ,
sa rāghavaḥ prekṣya sumantramabravīnnivedayasvāgamanaṃ nṛpāya me.

24. तु पितुः निदेशेन वनप्रवेशे कृतबुद्धिनिश्चयः धर्मवत्सलः सः
राघवः सुमन्त्रम् प्रेक्ष्य अब्रवीत् नृपाय मे आगमनम् निवेदयस्व
24. And that Rāma (rāghava), devoted to natural law (dharma) and having firmly decided in his mind to enter the forest by his father's command, spoke to Sumantra upon seeing him: "Report my arrival to the king."
