महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-65, verse-25

प्रादेशमात्रं भूमेस्तु यो दद्यादनुपस्कृतम् ।
न सीदति स कृच्छ्रेषु न च दुर्गाण्यवाप्नुते ॥२५॥

25. prādeśamātraṁ bhūmestu yo dadyādanupaskṛtam ,
na sīdati sa kṛcchreṣu na ca durgāṇyavāpnute.

25. Indeed, whoever gives a span-sized plot of land (bhūmi), unblemished, that person does not suffer in difficulties nor does he encounter misfortunes.
