महानिर्वाण-तन्त्रम्       mahānirvāṇa-tantram - chapter-9, verse-217

असौ देवस्त्रिलोकात्मा त्रिगुणं व्याप्य तिष्ठति ।
अतो विश्वमयं ब्रह्म वाच्यं व्याहृतिभिस्त्रिभिः ॥२१७॥
217. asau devastrilokātmā triguṇaṁ vyāpya tiṣṭhati ,
ato viśvamayaṁ brahma vācyaṁ vyāhṛtibhistribhiḥ.

217. asau devaḥ trilokātmā triguṇaṃ vyāpya tiṣṭhati
ataḥ viśvamayaṃ brahma tribhiḥ vyāhṛtibhiḥ vācyam
217. That divine being, who is the self of the three worlds, pervades and abides within the three guṇas. Therefore, the absolute, which encompasses the entire universe, is to be expressed through the three vyāhṛtis.
