महानिर्वाण-तन्त्रम्       mahānirvāṇa-tantram - chapter-9, verse-194

मौञ्जीं कुशमयीं वापि त्रिवृतां ग्रन्थिसंयुताम् ।
तूष्णीं च मेखलां दद्यात् काषायाम्बरधारिणे ॥१९४॥
194. mauñjīṁ kuśamayīṁ vāpi trivṛtāṁ granthisaṁyutām ,
tūṣṇīṁ ca mekhalāṁ dadyāt kāṣāyāmbaradhāriṇe.

194. To the boy who is wearing saffron garments, one should silently give a girdle made of muñja grass or kuśa grass, threefold and furnished with knots.
