कुलार्णव-तन्त्रम्       kulārṇava-tantram - chapter-8, verse-14

अदृष्टपौरुषाणाञ्च देशान्तरनिवासिनाम् ।
विना सङ्केतयोगेन न कुर्याद् द्रव्यसङ्गतिम् ॥१४॥
14. adṛṣṭapauruṣāṇāñca deśāntaranivāsinām ,
vinā saṅketayogena na kuryād dravyasaṅgatim.

vinā saṅketa-yogena na kuryāt dravya-saṅgatim

14. One should not engage in monetary dealings or financial association with those whose character and capability are unknown, and who reside in foreign lands, without a pre-established agreement.
