आम्नाया बहवः सन्ति नोर्ध्वाम्नायेन ते समाः ।
सत्यमेतद्वरारोहे नात्र कार्या विचारणा ॥८॥

8. There are many traditions (amnayas), but they are not equal to the urdhvamnaya. This is true, O one of beautiful form - no doubt should be entertained about it.
