ऊर्ध्वतत्त्वात् कुलेशानि ध्वस्तसंसारसागरात् ।
ऊर्ध्वलोकैकसेव्यत्वादूर्ध्वाम्नाय इति स्मृतः ॥१८॥

18. O Kuleśānī, because it rests on the higher principle, because it has destroyed the ocean of worldly existence, and because it alone is served in the higher world, it is known as the ūrdhvāmnāya, the higher tradition.
