ब्रह्माविष्णुगुहादीनां न मया कथितं पुरा ।
कथयामि तव स्नेहात् शृणुष्वैकाग्रमानसा ॥४॥

4. brahmāviṣṇuguhādīnāṁ na mayā kathitaṁ purā ,

4. In the past, I did not speak of this even to Brahmā, Viṣṇu, Guha (Kārttikeya), and the other gods. Out of affection for you, I am telling you; listen with an attentive mind.
