कुलार्णव-तन्त्रम्       kulārṇava-tantram - chapter-2, verse-118

मांसभक्षणमात्रेण यदि पुण्या गतिर्भवेत् ।
लोके मासाशिनः सर्वे पुण्यभाजो भवन्ति हि ॥११८॥
118. māṁsabhakṣaṇamātreṇa yadi puṇyā gatirbhavet ,
loke māsāśinaḥ sarve puṇyabhājo bhavanti hi.
118. māṃsa-bhakṣaṇa-mātreṇa yadi puṇyā gatiḥ bhavet
loke māṃsa-āśinaḥ sarve puṇya-bhājaḥ bhavanti hi
118. yadi māṃsa-bhakṣaṇa-mātreṇa puṇyā gatiḥ bhavet
hi loke sarve māṃsa-āśinaḥ puṇya-bhājaḥ bhavanti
118. If a virtuous state were reached merely by eating meat, then indeed all meat-eaters in the world would partake of spiritual merit (puṇya).
