न विशेदासने देवि देवतागुरुसन्निधौ ।
गुरोः सिंहासनं देयं ज्येष्ठानामुत्तमासनम् ।
देश्यासनं कनिष्ठानामितरेषां समासनम् ॥१०७॥

107. na viśedāsane devi devatāgurusannidhau ,
guroḥ siṁhāsanaṁ deyaṁ jyeṣṭhānāmuttamāsanam ,
deśyāsanaṁ kaniṣṭhānāmitareṣāṁ samāsanam.

107. O goddess, one should not sit on a seat in the presence of the deities and the teacher. The teacher's throne should be given to him, a superior seat to the elders, a local seat to the juniors, and an equal seat to others.
