पादुकामात्रसारज्ञः सदाचारेषु यन्त्रितः ।
सदाचारेण देवत्वं योगिनीवीरमेलनम् ।
सम्प्राप्नुवन्ति तिर्यक्त्वं कौलिकास्तद्विपर्ययात् ॥९६॥

96. pādukāmātrasārajñaḥ sadācāreṣu yantritaḥ ,
sadācāreṇa devatvaṁ yoginīvīramelanam ,
samprāpnuvanti tiryaktvaṁ kaulikāstadviparyayāt.

Those followers of the Kaula path who know only the essential secret of the sandals (paduka), who are restrained in their conduct, and who practice proper conduct attain divinity and the union with the yoginīs and vīras. By contrast, those who act contrary to proper conduct attain the state of animals.
