एकस्मिन्निधनं यत्र प्रापिते दुष्टचारिणि ।
बहूनां भवति क्षेमं पुण्यं तस्य वधे भवेत् ॥७८॥

bahūnāṁ bhavati kṣemaṁ puṇyaṁ tasya vadhe bhavet.

78. When the destruction of a single wicked person brings well-being to many, merit arises from killing him.
