अहं गुरुरहं ज्येष्ठस्त्वहं वेद्मीति गवीतः ।
अहमेव गतिर्येषां कौलिका न भवन्ति ते ॥४२॥

42. ahaṁ gururahaṁ jyeṣṭhastvahaṁ vedmīti gavītaḥ ,

42. Those who are arrogant, thinking that they alone are the guru, they alone are the elders, and they alone possess knowledge, and that they are the sole refuge - such people are not true practitioners of the kula (kaulikas).
