सशब्दं न पिबेन्मद्यं तथैव न च पूरयेत् ।
नान्योन्यं ताडयेत्पात्रं तथा न पातयेदधः ॥३३॥

33. saśabdaṁ na pibenmadyaṁ tathaiva na ca pūrayet ,
nānyonyaṁ tāḍayetpātraṁ tathā na pātayedadhaḥ.

sa-śabdam na pibet madyam tathā eva na ca pūrayet
na anyonyam tāḍayet pātraṃ tathā na pātayet adhaḥ

sa-śabdam madyam na pibet,

33. One should not drink wine noisily, nor should one fill it in that same manner. One should not strike vessels against each other, nor cause them to fall to the ground.
