कुलार्णव-तन्त्रम्       kulārṇava-tantram - chapter-1, verse-60

दुःखमूलो हि संसारः स यस्यास्ति स दुःखितः।
तस्य त्यागः कृतो येन स सुखी नापरः प्रिये ॥६०॥
60. duḥkhamūlo hi saṁsāraḥ sa yasyāsti sa duḥkhitaḥ,
tasya tyāgaḥ kṛto yena sa sukhī nāparaḥ priye.

60. O beloved, worldly existence is rooted in suffering. Whoever is tied to it suffers; whoever has abandoned it is happy, and no one else.
