कुलार्णव-तन्त्रम्       kulārṇava-tantram - chapter-1, verse-100

प्रत्यक्षग्रहणं नास्ति वार्त्तया ग्रहणं कुतः ।
एवं ये शास्त्रसम्मूढास्ते दूरस्था न संशयः ॥१००॥
100. pratyakṣagrahaṇaṁ nāsti vārttayā grahaṇaṁ kutaḥ ,
evaṁ ye śāstrasammūḍhāste dūrasthā na saṁśayaḥ.
100. pratyakṣagrahaṇam nāsti vārtayā grahaṇam kutaḥ
evam ye śāstrasammūḍhāḥ te dūrasthāḥ na saṃśayaḥ
100. pratyakṣagrahaṇam nāsti,
vārtayā grahaṇam kutaḥ? evam ye śāstrasammūḍhāḥ,
te dūrasthāḥ (santi),
na saṃśayaḥ
100. When there is no direct experience, how can true understanding come from mere talk? Thus, those who are deluded by scriptures remain far from the goal - of this there is no doubt.
